Guard Dog Robot Project

A video demonstrating camera motion tracking using LK Pyramid Tracking , and homography estimation ..

GuarddoG has been upgraded to Ubuntu Server 11.04..
I have also included in the repository various scripts that make reinstalling the whole OS and then patching it with GuarddoG easy

To test the build I use KVM and then copy it using dd to the usb stick , something like this ( http://kpweb.homelinux.org/blog/index.php?id=17 ) that way all the processing is done in my workstation and I dont waste USB read/write cycles
The only problem I faced while using KVM was that in the beggining I didn`t make a Userspace KVM machine and had many problems bridging the network with my network , but making a Userspace KVM machine everything just worked “out of the box”

The international fair of thessaloniki was a great success with a lot of media coverage and positive feedback from the visitors!

GuarddoG mk 4 a.k.a. Luben is now in the process of beeing upgraded to the next stage..!
GuarddoG mk 5 a.k.a. Jack , will feature a full Laser cut CAD designed plexiglass body with a metallic skeleton ( probably , hope that my tight budget can be enough.. ;P )

The GuarddoG project will be part of the 76th International Fair of Thessaloniki , at the Innovation and Inventions event..

IFT is the largest international exhibition in the country , so this is very important , and although the new cameras are not installed and the chassis is looking , well kind of ragged , I still hope to give a good show …
