Today I made a first presentation of GuarddoG project in my university , for the foss-aueb group!
It was a success ( I think ;P ) and a good test for the next presentation that will mainly be about the computer vision part of the project..!
I experimented merging a stethoscope with a microphone and the result was quite good , Documenting my heart beats !
I also broke the cable soldering , so after 1-2 hours ( I am not very good at soldering ) I repaired it and , made a cool handle with my logo on I am happy!
Total cost 10 euro ,
seeing in the dark = priceless xD
The next thing to do will be installing headlights on the robot in order to provide balanced luminosity on the space in front of it..
A good question is what would be the best place for placing the head lights.. ( obviously it would be the head ) but the problem is that the extra weight will disturb the turning of the head..
